It may be hard to believe (unless you’ve gone through the program or seen it yourself), but in three and a half days, the GOLD Youth Leadership Seminar literally changes the lives of the students who attend the program. Our delegates leave the program more confident, more committed, and more passionate about having a positive impact on their communities. Alumni of our seminars have gone on to start non-profit organizations, have found tangible ways to impact some of the poorest communities in North America, and have started companies to address key societal issues.

 

A program that has this level of impact requires money to organize, but we are committed that a student’s financial circumstances should never prevent a deserving student from attending our program. Because our program is organized and run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff members or speakers, we have been able to limit the total cost of the program to $250 per student delegate (or about $50,000 per year). However, with the recent economic downturn, it has become increasingly difficult for us to raise the money required to put on the seminar. We need your help.

Please consider making a financial contribution to the organization so that students may continue to have this experience. It only takes $250 to sponsor a deserving student to attend the program—$250 to have a significant positive impact on someone’s life. If you can contribute more than $250, please do so. If you can afford less, please give what you can. Even a $5 or $10 contribution helps.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your contribution will be entirely tax-deductible.

Corporate or Foundation Sponsorship

If you are part of a corporation, community group, or non-profit foundation that would like to become a sponsor, we have a number of sponsorship options available.

Platinum Sponsor ($10,000 or more):
Banner with company logo will be on display at all events, including registration and closing ceremony. Company will be formally thanked at the closing ceremony with parents present. Company logo will be included on the back of all participant T-shirts. Company logo will be included on the cover of the seminar program. Company will be mentioned in final letter to all participants and to all staff members. Company will be mentioned on our website and in three issues of our alumni newsletter.

Gold Sponsor ($5,000 to $9,999):
Banner with company logo will be on display for at least one entire day of the seminar and at the closing ceremony. Company will be formally thanked at the closing ceremony with parents present. Company will be included inside the seminar program. Company will be mentioned on our website and in two issues of our alumni newsletter.

Silver Sponsor ($2,500 to $4,999):
Banner with company logo will be on display at registration. Company will be included inside the seminar program. Company will be mentioned on our website and in one issue of our alumni newsletter.

Bronze Sponsor ($1,000 to $2,499):
Banner with company logo will be on display in the dining facility. Company will be included inside the seminar program. Company will be mentioned on our website and in one issue of our alumni newsletter.

Individual Student Sponsor ($250 per student):
Company will be mentioned on our website and in our seminar program.
