GOLD taught me the ins and outs of leadership, and its importance. I discovered the wonderful power leadership has on the everyday life of a person. The staff of GOLD was inviting and they were the perfect examples of how to demonstrate the characteristics of leadership. I brought back to my hometown of Mason, a desire and passion to set an example and the power making a difference can make in the world. GOLD taught me that small things in life make a HUGE difference. The powerful, motivating speakers they provided proved to be quite a show with they’re amazing words and dazzling stories. GOLD was a very special event and I won’t ever forget the amazing experience.

Gold Youth Leadership Seminar was the best thing I have participated in. It made me realize what a leader in reality should be. I met people that I know I will keep in contact with for a very long time. The staff was amazing and they dedicated so much time and effort to make this seminar amazing for all of us. I left this seminar a leader and I will go on to make my school proud and when I grow up to be the President of the United States and I will look back and have this Seminar to thank. All of you people are amazing. Thanks for everything and know that you have made a difference in this girl’s life and she will never be the same. Don’t forget to stay GOLD.

GOLD to me was so much fun. I learned a lot of new things about life and people and this will be something I’d always remember. It changed me as a person by showing me there’s more to life and the community then just by what you and yours friends do and that I myself could really make a difference. I loved whenever everyone got together and we did the event of religion/ethicity views or first opinions. That made me really open my eyes and be able to see the stories of others and how they related to me and also how they effect people greatly. GOLD will be an experience of a lifetime to many others in the upcoming years who join and decide to go because I know for me it surely was.
